Alison Kilmer brings five years of experience in outdoor education along with a unique professional background as a registered nurse and former member of the Army National Guard. She is passionate about hands-on, real-world learning that helps children make meaningful connections and truly retain what they learn.

Outside of school, Alison enjoys hiking with her two boys, exploring the woods, discovering animal bones, baking, and reading aloud to children. Her favorite authors include Roald Dahl, Sherri Duskey Rinker, Max Lucado, C.S. Lewis, and J.R.R. Tolkien.
