Louise Zehr brings eight years of experience in education and a strong science background to the Homeschool Enrichment program. She holds a Master’s degree in Developmental Biology and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and is also a Master Beekeeper and apprentice sheep shearer.

Louise loves the peace and wholeness nature-based education offers and believes it is the perfect setting for developing a lifelong love of learning. Outside of school, she is a local farmer who enjoys raising sheep, tending bees, exploring the Cascades and Olympics, baking, board games, and tea parties. Her favorite books include The Hobbit, The Wild Robot, Magic School Bus, and Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH.
