Mikaela Jonas is passionate about outdoor, child-led learning and has spent over 10 years working with children in a variety of settings. She is a certified nature school teacher through the Association for Nature-Based Education and brings experience from Montessori and childcare environments.

Mikaela loves giving children space to learn through their surroundings, move freely, and truly be kids. Outside of school, she is a mom of two and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, river swimming, and traveling with her family. Her favorite children’s books include Frog and Toad and the Little Blue Truck series.
